Lloyd's Story
Lloyd has worked in the communications and technology industry since 2013, but from early on he felt something wasn't quite right. Too often, especially for smaller businesses, support felt rushed, confusing, or inconsistent. Lloyd believed there had to be a better way, one built on clarity, honesty, and actually showing up for customers.
That belief is captured in the name Meraki. It's about putting care, thought, and personal commitment into the work, not treating technology as a box-ticking exercise or a transaction.
That mindset still defines how Meraki operates today. Lloyd continues to visit customers in person, no matter their size. He takes the time to understand how their business really works before making any recommendations. Whether it's a micro business or a national organisation, the approach never changes. Listen first, then deliver what actually fits.
People are just as central to Meraki as customers. Apprenticeships and opportunities for young talent sit at the heart of the business. Lloyd remembers being the youngest in the room earlier in his career and wanted to create a place where motivated, capable people are given the chance to learn, grow, and build something they're proud to be part of.
The Meraki Group Today
The Meraki Group brings together communications, technologies, security and energy under one structure.
Some services are delivered directly by our in house teams. Others are provided through carefully selected partners. In every case, responsibility is clear. Customers know who to speak to and who is accountable for keeping things running properly.
Our role is not to sell disconnected services. It is to understand how everything fits together and manage it as one connected setup rather than separate services.
Our Charity Partner
We are proud to support Friends Fighting Cancer, a local charity that provides direct financial support to families facing cancer across the South of England, including Portsmouth, Chichester, Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight.
Founded in 2008, the charity has grown from a single football tournament into an organisation that has raised over £1 million for local families and cancer related causes. In 2019, it became an independent registered charity, allowing it to provide means tested grants directly to families, often within 24 hours.
Funds are used to help ease the financial pressure that cancer can bring, covering everyday costs at a time when families need support most.
The charity is run by a dedicated team of volunteers and supported by local businesses, participants and sponsors through events ranging from football tournaments and walking challenges to raffles, boxing events and community fundraisers.
Supporting Friends Fighting Cancer reflects what matters to us as a business. Staying close to the communities we work in and helping where support is needed most.
